Like Arden they took inspiration from a well known artist.  This time they used the creative legacy of Mariano Foutuny.  He is a spanish designer of stage, costume, textiles and fashion, whose home was in the city of Venice.  His work was mainly influenced by Italian renaissance design and spans from the end of 19th century to the beginning of the 20th.

Based on antique brocades, damasks, velvets and paisleys found in the Zoffany archives, the designs were then re-worked by the design studio using contemporary techniques such as printing on foil and digital printing to capture the spirit of the original textiles.

Resulting in luxurious prints, embroideries and weaves.  This collection is then complemented by the lustrous Curzon Velvet.
