Hi Julianne,
I am really stuck!! Want to re upholster my large couch (73ins) and matching chair. The curtains were made to co-ordinate with another suite which was moved to another room, and as they they are relatively new (3yrs) i don’t want to replace them. They are from the James Hare Silks collection ref. Roan Rouge 38000/49. The fireplace is white marble and there is a large cherrywood cabinet to the left. The floor is a warm oak. The room is west facing with a bay window so gets the light in the afternoon/evening. What fabric/colour would you suggest for the furniture? I really would appreciate a bit of help! Thanks Valerie
Hi Valerie,
I just checked out James Hare Roan Rouge. It is kind of a mix of rouge, rose, grey and crimson. Because there is a shot in this silk it can come out a different colour when hanging. What colour does it come out most as? The room seems lovely and rich with the cherrywood and warm oaks. You could go into purple or wines or else you could go for a golden colour. If you want to email me a photo so I can get a better idea and I can send you some samples.
